Early days. Testing.

So after much harassment from Gen, I have buckled and reluctantly agreed to create a blog that will document my upcoming season with Steelhead Valhalla. I really have no idea where this is going and I am certain that nobody in their right minds will read a single sentence of this selfish and ego driven endeavour but a deal is a deal and the wrath my lady is a terrifying thing to behold.

I arrived in Smithers this morning after a long, hungover drive from Vancouver with Matt Casson. Indeed, we were so hungover that we opted to stay the night in Prince George amongst the bible thumpers and serial killers.

Currently taking it easy  and will head to Trout Creek tomorrow to begin setting up my guide tent and getting boats ready. I'm excited for this season, as I will guide on 5 different rivers: the Bulkley, Sustut, upper Skeena, Babine and Nass and I will get plenty of heli time which will never get old.

I am curious to see what changes have been made to the lodge. The boys have been out at the lodge building and renovating cabins and putting in a new kitchen for B.

A pic of Matt actually eating a McDonalds. Who does that!? This guy. Followed by a nice ice cream sandwich.
